Dr. Maleen Avery

Maleen Avery is an obesity medicine physician certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.  She has special training in low carbohydrate healthy fat (LCHF) and ketogenic nutrition and has a background in sport and musculoskeletal medicine as well as family medicine.  Dr. Avery has been in practice for 10 years and enjoys helping patients get healthy and reduce/discontinue medications where possible.  She understands her patients as she herself struggled with weight issues and has lost and kept off 45 lbs.

Dr. Ian S Burron

Dr. Ian S.Burron holds a Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Burron is certified by the Canadian College of Family Physicians in both Family and Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Burron completed a diploma in addiction medicine through the British Columbia Centre on Substance Abuse and is one of only 3 physicians in the province of Manitoba to be Board Certified in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. 

As a former practicing physiotherapist Dr. Burron understands the importance of exercise in the prevention and management of chronic disease/obesity. Dr. Burron has extensive experience in exercise assessment and prescription and has performed over 1000 exercise treadmill tests as a practicing physician in the Cardiology Department at Selkirk Regional Health Centre. Dr. Burron is passionate about helping patients with lifestyle modification including diet and exercise for the management of body weight, chronic disease, mental health, and addiction.

Anna Paulich

Anna is the founder of Total Metabolic Solutions and developed the LCHF Method. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology as well is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Certified LCHF/Keto and Fasting Coach. She has worked full time in the field of Diabetes for the last 12 years and has suffered from Thyroid disease and infertility herself.

Anna has coached hundreds of patients both in person and online to help them implement low carb nutrition and fasting to enhance metabolic repair and fat loss without worrying about counting calories.
